Vivid Transparencies: Yaozhou Wares from the Shang Shan Tang Collection is a volume published in relation to the exhibition by the same name held at the Museum of Oriental Art in Venice from 7 September to 25 October 2022. On its closing day a symposium was organised at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in conjunction with the exhibition. This publication has been conceived as a volume dedicated to the latest research on the Yaozhou kilns and the context in which they operated, in order to underline their importance in the development of Chinese ceramics.
