This chapter offers a description of network contracts involved in the 2023 survey in terms of type, sector, age, composition, objectives and purpose. In addition, this chapter analyses descriptive statistics related to effectiveness, market performance and cohesion of the network members to allow appreciation of the performance of the networks, but also the impact that networks have on network companies. Finally, this chapter proposes an in-depth analysis of the three sectors of activity most relevant in the survey (agri-food, construction and trade) and a comparison with the data collected in 2019 and 2021 to discuss new trends and evolution of network contracts concerning the variables investigated.

Abstract
