The topic of the relationship between the port of Venice, the lagoon and climate change is recently the subject of great attention, in particular after the MOSE system came into operation. Against this framework, this paper considers the different possible evolution of the port. Moreover, it mantains that the debate about how the port of Venice can adapt to climate change can be addressed properly only adopting an integrated coastal zone management approach.

Abstract
