This paper presents and discusses the results obtained from the study of the Early Neolithic Impressed Ware ceramics retrieved during the excavations carried out at Arma dell’Aquila (Finale Ligure, Savona) during the first half of the 1900s. Both pottery assemblages and radiocarbon dates show that the first Holocene settling of the shelter took place during the first half of the VII millennium BP by Neolithic farmers bearing Cardial Impressed ceramics.
