The contribution aims at analyzing the first part of the Subjective Spirit, namely the Anthropology, trying to discover in the concept of Soul the first step of the Spirit, due to its intrinsic intersubjectivity. The first paragraph focuses on Hegel’s concept of the soul, which is characterized by immediacy and indeterminateness. These characteristics belong to the human being, as a spiritual being. The development of subjectivity is marked by negativity and contradiction. The highest contradiction is discussed in the second paragraph: insanity as an important moment for spiritual development. The soul, through insanity, as I try to argue in the third paragraph, recognizes partially the immanent and intersubjective relation that constitutes itself.

Abstract
The contribution aims at analyzing the first part of the Subjective Spirit, namely the Anthropology, trying to discover in the concept of Soul the first step of the Spirit, due to its intrinsic intersubjectivity. The first paragraph focuses on Hegel’s concept of the soul, which is characterized by immediacy and indeterminateness. These characteristics belong to the human being, as a spiritual being. The development of subjectivity is marked by negativity and contradiction. The highest contradiction is discussed in the second paragraph: insanity as an important moment for spiritual development. The soul, through insanity, as I try to argue in the third paragraph, recognizes partially the immanent and intersubjective relation that constitutes itself.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
