Starting from the event of the death of God, and from his philosophical conceptualization by Hegel, the article aims to show how the immanence of God – fulfillment of the Christian religion – involves a conversion (Umkehrung) of subjectivity as the sublation of its immediate singularity. In this regard the distinction between religious Cultus and ethical Cultus takes on a special role: the religious Cultus opens the way to the realm of transcendence, for which subjectivity give itself away to participate in bliss; the ethical Cultus instead inaugurates a new type of subjectivity, for which the recognition of the God’s immanence constitutes a perpetual experience, no longer tied to the singularity of the feast. Only through this Umkehrung der Subjektivität the conscience sublates its natural singularity to recognize itself as spiritual intersubjectivity.

Abstract
Only through this Umkehrung der Subjektivität the conscience sublates its natural singularity to recognize itself as spiritual intersubjectivity.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
