Abstract
When we take a step in dance, does it mean that we are entering a sphere or dimension outside the space, outside the time established by society? Is it possible to create a dance, which does not obey to the system, that is to say an anti-systemic dance? These and other questions come to mind, when we think about butō or any other dance, which attempts to mould the corporeal material while avoiding shape, form or linear dynamics and is centred on a body that gestates social and/or political criticism. This unrevised essay (exhibited, alongside other writings, during the Festival “‘Soto’ no sen’ya ichiya 2013”, Yokohama Akarenga, 19-24 November 2013) displays some reflections on the dance explored by Murobushi Kō and his interrogations concerning the relationship between dance and the “outside” (soto).I documenti in ARCA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
