This collection provides a highly valuable contribution to the field of Wallace studies, by showing that Wallace’s texts, characters, story-worlds, linguistic and formal choices, plots and concepts are all to be read “between” philosophy and literature – not as a preconceived methodology to be imposed on Wallace’s oeuvre, or as a theoretical context that univocally homogenizes each single reading, but as an investigative perspective that allows for a variety of theories and methods to shed light on that constitutive in-betweenness.

Abstract
This collection provides a highly valuable contribution to the field of Wallace studies, by showing that Wallace’s texts, characters, story-worlds, linguistic and formal choices, plots and concepts are all to be read “between” philosophy and literature – not as a preconceived methodology to be imposed on Wallace’s oeuvre, or as a theoretical context that univocally homogenizes each single reading, but as an investigative perspective that allows for a variety of theories and methods to shed light on that constitutive in-betweenness.File in questo prodotto:
