The purpose of this contribution is to analyze, using the feminist method in international law, migrations as a consequence of climate change or other phenomena characterized by the progressive deterioration of the environment (slow violence). The contribution, after explaining the notions of “climate violence” and “gendered migrations”, will start by the pivotal analysis of the issue provided by some international bodies, then explain what an ecofemi- nist method in international law, also theoretically, means. It will then apply an already developed argument called “gender-sensitive protection par rico- chet” to cases of migration as a consequence of climate change or slow vio- lence, through an innovative reading of the Teitiota case, decided by the United Nations Human Rights Committee on October 24, 2019.
