The paper presents the first results of the archaeological and archaeometric analyses performed on a set of 56 glass ornaments discovered in the necropolis of Montabone (Piemonte, Northern Italy) and dated from the end of the 3rd to the end of the 2nd century BC. The collection comprises glasses of Celtic typologies, including two inscribed glass beads.
