The collection of materials present on the ground was carried out in all the TRUs investigated, and this was done regardless of the value of the finds. In light of the average consistency of finds unearthed, the measurement of intensity was identified on a quantitative basis. Some concentrations allowed the collection of much higher amounts of material on the surface, but these represent exceptions to the normal distribution of finds. This type of collection, and recording of the data, also allowed the existence of minimal traces related to agricultural practices or very minor scatters to be documented. Inevitably, the distinction between sites and non-sites (or dispersions) was not always made unequivocally.

Abstract
The collection of materials present on the ground was carried out in all the TRUs investigated, and this was done regardless of the value of the finds. In light of the average consistency of finds unearthed, the measurement of intensity was identified on a quantitative basis. Some concentrations allowed the collection of much higher amounts of material on the surface, but these represent exceptions to the normal distribution of finds. This type of collection, and recording of the data, also allowed the existence of minimal traces related to agricultural practices or very minor scatters to be documented. Inevitably, the distinction between sites and non-sites (or dispersions) was not always made unequivocally.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
