In November 2017, geophysical survey was conducted across two areas at Jesolo, one situated between the monastery of San Mauro and the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the other near the residential area to the south of the cathedral and its related cemetery. The survey covered a total of nine hectares. Analysis of the results has enabled the recognition of approximately 300 anomalies within the following macro categories of interpretation: embankment, reclamation area, structure, thermoremanent magnetization, contemporary activity and finally unidentifiable anomalies.
