Conclusioni

The topographical analysis of the nine excavated trenches of the Early Medieval cemetery at Andrazza allowed to clearly delimit the space dedicated to the dead and suggested that the connected settlement was probably not far from the graveyard itself. Nevertheless, the archaeological investigation did not identify any peculiar structure, neither for religious nor for residential use. The presence of many grave goods confirmed the chronology of the cemetery (6th-7th centuries), although Grave 1, the only collective burial, could suggest the use of the cemetery until the early beginning of the 8th century.
