Abstract

The last archaeological excavations at the Temple of Mut at Jebel Barkal were carried out by Reisner at the beginning of the last century. However, the restoration activities carried out by the Istituto Centrale del Restauro between 2014 and 2020 have reawakened the need to survey some areas of the temple with the dual purpose of: enabling its structural restoration, and investigating portions that had not been excavated so far, leading to interesting new results.
