The short essay gives an account of "Hillary. The Hillary Clinton Emails," an exhibition by the American poet Kenneth Goldsmith which took place at the Cinema Teatro Italia, Venice, in conjunction with the Biennale of Visual Arts 2019. On that occasion, Goldsmith made public, for the first time in printed format, the e-mails which, according to WikiLeaks, were sent from the domain clintonemail.com between 2009 and 2013. The article offers an insight into the purposes and preparatory phases of the show.
