Caminhar pelo inacessível: o sobrenatural em Maria Ondina Braga

Maria Ondina Braga is a writer of rare sensibility whose work is inseparable from the experience that one in Macao. Wandering motivates her to weave a writing underlined by the strangeness of the landscape, of herself in her recollections. This paper intends to revisit scenes form Macao in the book Estátua do Sal (1969), seeking to characterise the narrative gaze in its drifts by games mirrors, spectra and the supernatural. In the story "The supernatural" the narrator says that she is sick and that the root of her illness is in the reason of seeing what is not. Can we say that the vision of the Ondina's prose seeing that thinks about what she contemplates in constant absence? How do the supernatural, the invisible, and the mystery participate in the thought that is told in her wanderings? It is intended to analyse the questions presented throguhg some notions of Michel Foucault"s self-care and writing as Marrice Blanchot's death space.
