L'articolo esamina lo sviluppo della geografia ungherese dalla fine della seconda guerra mondiale agii anni Sessanta. Si evidenziano i fattori di continuità rispetto al periodo tra le due guerre mondiali e di trasformazione sviluppatisi durante i primi anni del comunismo.

Abstract
The article examines the development of Hungarian geography from the end of the Second World War to the 1960s. The factors of continuity with respect to the period between the two world wars and of the transformation developed during the first years of communism are highlighted.
