Restrictions on people’s freedoms introduced by government measures designed to contain the spread of the pandemic have led to significant changes in the habits of each individual’s life, with inevitable repercussions on all social relationships, and primarily on relationships of an sentimental and family nature. From the analysis of the different situations, it emerges that the emergency regulatory experience has been carried out in search of a difficult balance between the protection of the right to public health – seriously threatened by the epidemiological impact – and the protection of other subjective situations placed within the inviolable rights of the individual.

Abstract

Restrictions on people’s freedoms introduced by government measures designed to contain the spread of the pandemic have led to significant changes in the habits of each individual’s life, with inevitable repercussions on all social relationships, and primarily on relationships of an sentimental and family nature. From the analysis of the different situations, it emerges that the emergency regulatory experience has been carried out in search of a difficult balance between the protection of the right to public health – seriously threatened by the epidemiological impact – and the protection of other subjective situations placed within the inviolable rights of the individual.
