This article explores the “intermedial relation” that opens up between a written poetic text and the reading voice of the poet who wrote it. The physical poet’s voice –“phoné”– is a fundamental element in poetic language. The article focuses on how the specific configuration of digital archives as Phonodia web page, can not only activate the intermedial relationship between voice and writing, but also change the status of both the author and the traditional reader. Following an interdisciplinary approach the article also suggests a method to listen to the poet’s voice and treats it as a part of the hermeneutical process.
