There is an extensive interest on models for fertility rates in statistics and demography. In this chapter, we develop a novel method for modelling the Proportionate Age–Specific Fertility Rates, relying on a Bayesian Skewed Processes that allows to model the parameters' evolutions via flexible Gaussian Process priors.

Abstract
