“La voce solitaria” is a map of the stage monologue, and the reconstruction of its history, starting from the second half of the twentieth century. There are two main lines: the enlightened one that goes back to Dario Fo, whose aims are to change the world and to represent reality; the romantic one that draws upon Carmelo Bene and is meant to express itself and retrieve the avant-gardes. Typologies organised per regional area and genres to follow.
