The aim of this chapter is to provide some empirical evidence of the enabling factors that can assist firms’ adoption of specific technologies related to I4.0. Drawing on Frey and Osbourne’s (2017) argument on the impact of computerization on jobs, our core objective is to explore the relationship between the adoption of I4.0 tech- nologies and either job creation or destruction. Moreover, we are interested in analysing the synergies between the use of digital technologies and firms’ inter- nationalization and financial structure.

Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to provide some empirical evidence of the enabling factors that can assist firms’ adoption of specific technologies related to I4.0. Drawing on Frey and Osbourne’s (2017) argument on the impact of computerization on jobs, our core objective is to explore the relationship between the adoption of I4.0 tech- nologies and either job creation or destruction. Moreover, we are interested in analysing the synergies between the use of digital technologies and firms’ inter- nationalization and financial structure.File in questo prodotto:
