Thanks to its landscape and its natural resources, Trentino is a common destination for both Italian and foreign tourists. An analysis of recent data will unveil how, despite the delicate national and international economic contingencies, tourism business in the area is facing trends of steadiness and even of growth. Tourism is indeed one of the main planks of local economy as, according to recent assessments, generates about 18,5% of local GDP. The main clusters are summer and winter tourists; each cluster has specific fruition patterns, which will be pointed out in this paper. Cultural tourism will then be analysed as a possible third cluster which is not fully developed yet. A review of local strategic plans and territorial marketing plans will show that the context is fertile for its expansion.

Abstract
A review of local strategic plans and territorial marketing plans will show that the context is fertile for its expansion.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
