The paper offers the edition of seven letters exchanged between Goffredo Parise and the publisher Valentino Bompiani during the years 1964-65. In these missives the writer tries to negotiate a deal with Bompiani to re-publish his old books: the interest of the correspondence lies in the fact that it provides us a lot of information about Parise’s life and the works he was composing in that period and also about the discontent he was feeling with his publisher at the time, Livio Garzanti.
