In continuity with my doctoral thesis, whose subject was the study of iconography of the Etruscan lion in V century BC, the research is now focused on the Hellenistic period, and more particularly on funerary stone lions, which decorated the monumental graves especially of southern Etruria. The aim is to deal with the issues related to the circulation of craftsmen and iconographic patterns among the different Etruscan cities to deepen the knowledge of Etruscan artistic landscape and relations between Etruria and the Mediterranean world, especially Greece, during this age.
