The lists constitute a form of writing very present in the texts of the Middle Ages, whatever their nature and their kind. This singular syntactic, graphic and semantic form was the subject of a collective and interdisciplinary research called "Pouvoir des listes au Moyen Âge" (POLIMA) "Power of lists in the Middle Ages", which was supported by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (France). The article proposes a material approach to the list, which aims to study the relationship between writing and support as well as writing and places of its installation (walls, monuments, reliquaries, doors). In particular the article takes into account the monuments and objects of art produced in Rome and its surroundings during the Reform of the Church (11th -12th centuries)

Abstract
The lists constitute a form of writing very present in the texts of the Middle Ages, whatever their nature and their kind. This singular syntactic, graphic and semantic form was the subject of a collective and interdisciplinary research called "Pouvoir des listes au Moyen Âge" (POLIMA) "Power of lists in the Middle Ages", which was supported by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (France). The article proposes a material approach to the list, which aims to study the relationship between writing and support as well as writing and places of its installation (walls, monuments, reliquaries, doors). In particular the article takes into account the monuments and objects of art produced in Rome and its surroundings during the Reform of the Church (11th -12th centuries)File | Dimensione | Formato | |
