Piccole imprese nel Veneto del Novecento

The volume collects articles on SMEs in the Veneto region during the 20th century, proposing an historical assessment of the different forms of entreprise that emerged in the area, from craft industries to industrial districts and niche MNEs, interpreting them in the theoretical perspective of the debate on historical alternatives to mass production. The banking system and network dynamics are analysed as crucial factors in the emergence and sustainability of such forms.
