"Philosophy" is very pretentious and requires at least two things from who evokes it: a) the decision not to remain ignorant; b) the decision to act consistently: that is, to be coherent over the first assumption. Who remain ignorant it will be because he has decided not "to risk" for his own salvation. For the ancient Greeks "kindynos" was something to which we must oppose, something that we have to control whit logos. Today reason (i.e. philosophy) demands that we be saved venturing "to know" how to control the risk. In this sense the risk is nice and we have to be "enchanted" by it, as Plato said. We have the right to risk.

Abstract
"Philosophy" is very pretentious and requires at least two things from who evokes it: a) the decision not to remain ignorant; b) the decision to act consistently: that is, to be coherent over the first assumption. Who remain ignorant it will be because he has decided not "to risk" for his own salvation. For the ancient Greeks "kindynos" was something to which we must oppose, something that we have to control whit logos. Today reason (i.e. philosophy) demands that we be saved venturing "to know" how to control the risk. In this sense the risk is nice and we have to be "enchanted" by it, as Plato said. We have the right to risk.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
