The author therefore immediately begins by looking into how this rich heritage is received in Armenian culture, paying particular attention to its role and significance. Then she provides an overview of references to Dante and his works, focusing especially on the contributions of the Mekhitarist Fathers, and finally a third section discusses Armenian translations of the Commedia.
