Critical edition of selected letters written by the poet Pedro Salinas, one of the greatest exponents of the generation of 27, to the American professor Katherine Whitmore, whom he met in the summer of 1932 and, over fifteen years , became the target of more than three hundred letters. The correspondence sheds new light on the most famous love poems Salinas (La voz a ti debida, Razón de amor and Largo lamento), on the difficult relations between the poetic world and the real world, and opens a new dimension in Salinas' work, complementary to that of his poetry. A text is published in which Katherine evokes the relationship.
