The article proposes a reading of tanka examples from Carles Riba, particularly the a series within a book and the repercussions that this decision may entail. I discuss two aspects of tanka poems: as an expression of sentiment and the cyclical nature of tanka poetry, which assimilates it to enumerative poetry.
