Pedagogy is one of the eight key areas of the ‘Common European Framework for Teacher Professional Profile in ICT for Education’, which is a theoretical model intended to capture the skills of teachers in the knowledge society. It was developed in the European project uTeacher (2003-2005). This chapter analyzes the change in pedagogy from a paradigm based on teaching to one based on learning. It concentrates on the pedagogical implications regarding: the context of the actions related to the educational practice; the actions related to this practice; the knowledge areas related to the activities involved; issues and case studies.
