This Chapter focuses on the archaeological evidence of the Indo-Greeks in the Gandharan region. To the earliest ones, such as those from the excavations carried out in the first half of the 20th century, those from the latest urban excavations are added. Particular attention is given to the most recent results from the excavation at the urban site of Barikot (Swat).
Il capitolo si concentra sulle evidenze archeologiche di periodo indo-greco nell'area del Gandhara. Alle evidenze già note vengono affiancate le evidenze degli scavi più recenti, in particolare quelle dall'area dello Swat, con un focus specifico sul sito di Barikot.
