Est-Asia. L'interscambio culturale, scientifico ed economico

The volume gathers papers by scholars from different fields of research and professionals operating in East Asia in a context of growing interest on Asia both in cultural and scientific terms, and in economic and social viewpoints. The main topic, East Asia and its cross-cultural exchanges, is approached through an interdisciplinary perspective, focusing on a wide range of subjects. Two relevant issues emerge from the work: 1) East Asian cultural commitment to history, art, literature, and to other specific domains, such as design, cinema, fashion, sports; 2) the economic and scientific exchange and the contribution of East Asian countries in some fields, such as green economy, comparative law, and in scientific sectors, such as engineering, physics, maths, with an emphasis on research, innovation and technological transfer, cooperation on sustainability, and global development.
