The present article aims at tackling the field of study of sight translation conceived as an oral and practical activity which could contribute to the strengthening of oral skills within the framework of liaison interpreting. Particular attention will be paid to sight translation between romance languages (specifically Spanish and Italian) in order to detect the main problems and interferences characterizing this language pair.

Abstract
