In the present work we focus the attention on the utterance introduced by the Spanish illative conjunction asi que (Rodriguez Ramalle 2010, 2013, 2014a, 2014b, 2015, 2016). First, we describe the evidential meaning integrating the notion of mediativity (Lazard 1999, 2001) with the notion of intersubjectivity (Nuyts 2001a, 2001b, 2006, 2012). Second, we justify the appearance of these evidential meaning by introducing the hypothesis of a procedural polyphonic instruction (Ducrot 1980, 1984). Finally, we analize the discourse function in the interaction by integrating Anderson 1986's justification hypothesis with the pragmatic notions of deixis propositional (de Haan 2005), right, authority and ownership of information (Fox 2011, Hill and Irvine 1983, Nucholls y Michael 2014) and in relation to the pragmatic phenomena of attenuation and intensification (Briz 2003, 2007, 2011, 2016; Briz y Albelda 2013; Albelda 2016). The data supports two assumptions: the independency of the two categories, evidentiality and epistemic modality, and the deictic value of the evidentials.
