"Spread The Sign" is an international Leonardo Da Vinci project to build an on-line multilingual video-dictionary of European and extra-European sign languages, accessible on computers, smartphones, and tablets. As for the Italian sign language, 15.000 signs have already been uploaded. The dictionary aims at developing the language competence of deaf students in both sign languages and the national oral languages, to make them able to travel, study, and do internships within Europe and beyond.
