L'analisi di due sepolture venete ad incinerazione del VI sec. a.C., una di Este e l'altra di Padova,permette di puntualizzare alcuni momenti del rituale funerario: - più deposizioni all'interno della medesima tomba e del medesimo ossuario; sostituzione del contenitore tombale e/o del vaso ossuario; commistione dei resti combusti e dei materiali di corredo. Le ipotesi sono suffragate dalle determinazioni antropologiche e da ricostruzioni sperimentali in laboratorio.
