Kabiria supports the classification, filing, and retrieval of office documents through three levels of knowledge representation: a static level, bound to the structure and textual content of documents; a procedural level, related to the operational aspects of office work; and a domain level, related to the specific application domain and its governing regulations. While documents are represented at a deep level of detail, the office context of procedures, agents, events, and regulations is represented in terms of elements that are modeled according to their links to documents
